Ms Bell good morning,
Regarding your question we would like to inform you that you can have your quizzes, provided you adhere to the provisions of the latest Decree of the Minister of Health on Covid19 (https://www.pio.gov.cy/coronavirus/categories/diat ), especially provisions of the Article 9 and 82 as well as the Protocol on the operation of catering establishments ( https://www.pio.gov.cy/coronavirus/uploads/16032021_Protocol%20on%20the%20operation%20of%20catering%20establishments%20EN.pdf ). It is highly advisable for the people in your establishment to wear a mask if they are not actively eating or/and drinking. Also no sharing of quiz papers and pens. Now regarding karaoke, although is not forbidden it is advisable to avoid them, but if you decide to do them to be extra careful adhering to the provisions of the latest decree of the Minister of Health as well as the following – 1. No Dancing 2. Implementation of a designated “singing” area which is 3 metres from the nearest table. 3. Customers wear masks whenever unseated unless actively singing in the designated singing area (the same as if they left their table to use the toilet facilities or to enter or leave the premises) 4. All customers sanitise hands prior to handling any equipment (microphones/ cables etc.) 5. All customers either use their own microphone or, in the case of a shared microphone, use their own individual microphone cover to prevent transmission through droplets. 6. Microphones are sanitised in between each use. 7. No more than 2 performers at any time and where there are 2 performers, they remain a minimum of 2 metres apart. 8. It is recommended that singers are seated whilst performing. 9. Each customer is issued with their own individual microphone cover prior to singing their first song in case they don't supply their own. 10. All Customers must have safe pass 11. Anti bacteria spray is used on cables and microphone and all items accessible to singers. Last, please be advised that the Decrees of the Minister of Health may change in any minute, thus you should adhere always with the latest decree.
