HI ALL, JUST TO PUT SOME PEOPLE'S MIND AT REST; THE CLUB IS DOING EVERYTHING IT CAN TO AVOID UNREST. THE CLUB IS PROVIDING HAND SANITISER ON ENTRANCE TO THE CLUB, THE VIRUS IS NOT AIRBORNE, FREQUENT WASHING OF HANDS IS ENOUGH.
LET'S BEAT THIS VIRUS AND NOT LET IT BEAT US. Dear members, I have had a few phone calls today asking if the club is open for Sunday carvery. The answer to the question is yes, business as usual. We are well aware of the government restriction of no more than 75 people in any confined areas and as bookings for the restaurant are made in advance then we are in direct control of the number of people wanting lunch and of course there are always some people that arrive early and leave early which then further reduces the number of people at any one time. The club also has the advantage of some of the diners who always prefer to be seated downstairs in the bar area. We do also have people who arrive without booking first but if their attendance would go over the limit of 75 then they will be given the option of waiting outside in the open decked area until it is okay for them to dine. The number of people that stay for the karaoke will also be monitored. The club has also put in place hand sanitiser at the entrance to the club and there are several more inside the building as well as the usual soap and water in the toilets. Thank you all, Debbie Bell, Chairman.
