Double Taxation. On 22nd March UK and Cyprus signed a new Double Taxation agreement and which replaces that of 1974! Some concerns are being expressed as to the implications that the agreement may have on Taxation of British expatriates living in Cyprus. In particular as it may affect Government employees who will now be taxed at source, i.e. by the government funding their remuneration. Blevins Franks will be preparing a summary of some of the effects of the new agreement, and which information will be passed on to members. However if you have concerns as to how the agreement may affect you please note that the next financial surgery run by Blevins Franks at the club will be on Friday 27th April. From 12 noon until 2p.m
