Now that the weather is cooling down a little and people are arriving back themselves, or waving goodbye to their visitors, it is time to restart the dancing afternoons at the UKCA. No previous dancing skills are required for this fun way to exercise both body and mind. If you want to give it a go, just turn up at 2 pm - wear flat shoes that wont trip you up (trainers are fine) and bring some water to drink. No partners are necessary. Cost 3 Euro.
The St Andrew Society of Paphos hold a Ball at the beginning of November. The ball dance programme is of simple dances most of which are easily learnt in a few lessons - all the dances on Mondays will be from the ball programme so anyone going to the ball can learn them at an easy pace, they are also a good fun selection for people to enjoy even if they don't want to attend the ball. For more information see the Scottish Country Dancing Activity page or the link on the Monday page.
