Scottish Country Dancing is one of the best fun ways to get and keep fit, proven in studies to help maintain not just physical fitness but mental fitness too it is a great de-stresser. There is no need to come with a partner since everyone dances with everyone else in most of these dances, so singles and couples get just as much chance to dance; or if you have a partner who normally dislikes dancing - maybe they don't like to lead, or don't like being shuffled around - this may be the style that breaks the mould since it can be enjoyed at any level and often the person who was bottom of the class in other dance classes find they shine at this. Come along and give it a go at 2 pm on Monday afternoons. Wear flat shoes and bring something to drink and be prepared to learn something that may change your life :-)
